DIY natural deodorant

In today’s world, we are surrounded by harmful chemicals on the daily. This natural deodorant can be made at home and has many health benefits such as not blocking pores and allowing your good bacteria to keep working. Making your deodorant at home also helps the environment by using less plastic and ingredients that are chemical-free. Not only is this natural alternative healthier, but it also performs better. This will take less than 10 minutes out of your day and last for about a month.

Ingredients

  • 5 tbsp of baking soda
  • 3 tbsp of coconut oil
  • 1-2 tbsp of hydrogen peroxide
  • 10 drops of essential oil of your choice
  • 1 tbsp of shea butter
  • 1 tbsp of beeswax
  • 1 tsp of white kaolin clay
  • 1-2tbsp of cornflour or corn starch

Although these ingredients may not be found in your pantry, you can easily order them online. Simply combine all the ingredients above into a bowl and mix thoroughly, next transfer the paste into a container, and freeze for 3 hours. Do not fill the container all the way to the top because the paste will slightly expand. Hopefully, you find this helpful. Remember to follow us on Instagram and Facebook @greenisdope.inc
