Banana ice-cream

Ice cream is something everyone enjoys and loves however in most cases, the store-bought version is not very healthy. The following recipe allows you to customize your flavor and is lactose-free, vegan, and sugar-free.

Start by cutting 3 bananas into slices and placing them into the freezer for 4 hours to let them freeze fully. After this time, take them out and place them into a blender. This is the part where you are able to get creative. You can add any other fruits to this. For example, by adding raspberry to this, you will get banana raspberry ice cream. I recommend adding not only fresh fruit but also frozen fruit. Frozen fruit not only has all the same nutrients as fresh fruit but is also available yer round. After adding the fruit of your choice, blend this together. If you still want your icecream sweeter, add a bit of honey or agave. Place this into a cup and enjoy or freeze for an additional 30min if you want a consistency more similar to icecream.
